Dirty Gun

I'm proudly posting Dirty Gun today. This project has been a passion of mine and my good friend Nick Biron's for a long time. It's been finished for a while but we were waiting for the right time to release it to the public. Dirty Gun is many things, a short film, a comedy, an action movie, a commentary on the nature of man and war, but most of all it's fun. We hope to turn this into a feature film, and the script is in the works. Thanks to the entire cast and crew for making this possible.

Mountain High’s Drive in Series

Throughout the winter I've been working with Mountain High Resort in SoCal on their first ever full length team movie. In addition to this I've been doing bi-weekly edits under the name "Drive-In". These are released on Transworld Snowboarding's website. They feature both Mountain High's team riders as well as visiting pro snowboarders. They generally get between 10,000 and 20,000 views. This is one episode that I particularly like, but you can see them all on both my Vimeo page as well as the Mountain High Vimeo page.

In this episode the crew travels to Colorado where they meet up with Blake Axelson, Sammy Spitteri, and Nick Visconti. The park at Snowmass gets a beat down and Nick wins a Bronze Medal at X-Games.

A Somewhat Uncertain Journey, Episode 1

This is the first episode on a documentary series I'm working on for Arbor Snowboards. In this series I decided to focus on trying to convey what it's like to be a pro snowboarder, the good and the bad. Most snowboard videos are just shots of tricks edited to music, nobody really ever sees what it takes to get these shots or what a Pro's lifestyle is really like. I also decided the center this theme around a travel documentary format since most of the time these guys are on the road, I think it adds another layer to the story that makes this series that much for interesting to watch.

I've been working with a company called World Wide Mind in Venice on a few projects over the past year. They do pretty cool short films, mostly based in the action sports realm, that live on the web as viral video commercials for clients like Vitamin Water. I've been privileged to be a co-DP on a few really fun shoots with them. This one is a pretty funny prank that we pulled on pro BMX rider Chad Kerley, where we surprised him with a meet up with basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

Making a Snowboard Movie

Mountain High has hired me to make their first ever full length snowboard film this winter. I'll be working with their awesome team - Nick Visconti, Ryan Paul, Cory Cronk, Spencer Link, Harrison Gordon and Kyle Lopiccolo and returning team rider, Marc Frank Montoya. Ya that's right, MFM! I have a pretty cool job.
